Donor Societies

The Church in Boston is blessed by generations of the faithful whose contributions of time, talent, and treasure support our parishes, schools, and ministries. Donors who can consider significant contributions receive periodic updates and invitations to Archdiocesan events.

Cardinal’s Leadership Circle ($10,000 and above)

Members of the Cardinal's Leadership Circle provide strategic support for the work of the Church. Our work of building the body of Christ is renewed and nourished through these individuals whose faith, leadership, and commitment to the Catholic mission assist the Cardinal in guiding the Archdiocese of Boston. Members are invited to an annual Advent Mass and reception each December and to events throughout the year. 

Crosier Society ($5,000 - $9,999)

The Crosier, or pastoral staff, symbolizes the role of the Bishop as a shepherd. It has been an ecclesiastical ornament since the early days of the Church. Members of the Crosier Society are invited to concerts, lectures, and gatherings throughout the year. Members also are invited to two Catholic Appeal events with the Cardinal: an annual prayer service in February and Holy Mass at Bethany Chapel in October.

Mitre Society ($1,000 - $4,999)

Conferred upon a Bishop at his Episocal Ordination, the Mitre is dated to the age of the Apostles. Members of the Mitre Society are invited to an annual evening prayer service in February and Holy Mass at Bethany Chapel inOctober. Members also are sent updates about the work of the Archdiocese through occasional e-mails.
