Gifts of Stock and/or Mutual Funds
In 2013, donors may receive a tax benefit when they direct distributions from IRAs to charity. To qualify, donors must be 70 ½ or older, and the distribution must be made directly to the charity. For more information, contact your financial adviser or Pat Bartram at Patricia_Bartram@rcab.org.
How much should I contribute?
Everyone’s circumstances are different. The chart below is for your consideration in planning your gift. Remember that pledges can be made over a period of 10 months. Gifts can be made by cash, check, credit card, and appreciated securities.
